Diabetes mellitus, impaired kidney function, raised CSF pressure and severe liver disease.

Hot and humid conditions in patients with fever, particularly in childn and patients given with atropine. Ingestion of 30-60 mL may be fatal.

Increased salivation and bronchial secretion; laryngeal spasm; severe hypotension; hyperglycaemia; malignant hyperthermia. Alterations in liver and kidney function. Convulsions. Dependence.
Local: Necrosis (prolonged contact).
Potentially Fatal: Respiratory failure and cardiac arrest. |

Enhances action of competitive neuromuscular blockers. Potentiates arrhythmogenic effect of sympathomimetics. Enhanced hypotensive effects with ACE inhibitors, MAOIs, tricyclic antidepressants, antihypertensives, antipsychotics, β-blockers. CNS depressants.
